Kangra Teas - Kangra Valley is situated at a height of 1250 mts above sea
level in Himachal Pradesh, which is located in the northwestern part of
India. Dharmasala, the district headquarters of Kangra is the residence of
His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Tea in this region is grown under complete
natural conditions. Bushes are of "china jat". Estates in this part of the
country follow the bio-dynamic methods of plantation and uses organic
matter for manure. Due to the altitude and climatic conditions the estates
do not have to use any pesticide.

Black tea from this region has a unique
high altitude flavour while green teas manufactured in this region are of
a very high standard. Specialty teas like hand-rolled, silver tips, blue
tea ,white tea and tea flowers are also produced here.
